Celebration of Georgian Culture and Womans International Day

On March 19, the Georgian Canadian Centre hosted a Cultural Celebration Day and International Women’s Day Celebration. The afternoon opened with the Georgian national anthem, followed by wonderful and unforgetfull performances by our youth dance and singing ensembles, as well as contemporary dance artists.

The celebration was exceptionally beautiful and touched everyone’s hearts. One of the most memorable moments was the theatrical performance and traditional Kakhuri dance by our young dancers, which was warmly received by the audience.

Guests from across the Greater Toronto Area joined us, including representatives of neighbouring community organizations and guests from the Embassy of Georgia. We are sincerely grateful to all the volunteers, performers, and supporters who helped make this special celebration possible.
